Discover & Reconcile Consumers & Owners

Learn how to identify and manage the applications (consumers) using LLM resources and the organizational entities (owners) responsible for them.

Overview​

Tetrate Agent Operations Director provides tools to discover and reconcile consumers and owners, creating a transparent accountability structure for AI resource usage.

Discovery Process​

Automatic Consumer Discovery​

The platform can automatically identify consumers through monitoring API calls to detect applications using LLMs,

Manual Consumer Registration​

For consumers that can't be automatically detected you can manually add the customer.

Reconciliation Workflow​

Step 1: Configure Owner Structure​

  1. Navigate to the Owners section of the platform
  2. Click "+ Owner" to add new organizational entities
  3. Configure each owner with a unique identifier, display name, and associated budget template

Step 2: Access Consumer Management​

For each Owner, navigate to the Consumers section then click Resolve to view discovered consumers.

Step 3: Reconcile Discovered Consumers​

For each discovered consumer:

  1. Identify the application responsible for the traffic
  2. Click Add button to start reconciling process
  3. Enter information in the dialog and that includes service name, category and type along with Budget template
  4. Click Save to reconcile the consumer

Step 4: Manually Add Consumers (if needed)​

For known consumers not automatically discovered, use the "+ Consumer" button and enter required details.

Step 5: Validate Consumer-Owner Relationships​

Verify that all consumers are correctly associated with owners and that appropriate budget templates are assigned.

Consumer Status Management​

Consumers can have various statuses:

  • Discovered: Automatically detected but not yet configured
  • Added: Properly configured in the system
