Introducing Tetrate Application Gateway

Tetrate Application Gateway makes it easy for platform owners to provide application delivery as-a-service to application teams. It supports hybrid-cloud environments with multi-modal (containers, VM, bare-metal) applications.

Technical Preview

Platform Owners use Tetrate’s highly-available mesh technology to deploy global edge gateways and local application gateways across their infrastructure, connecting them with a secure mTLS network and additional Transit gateways as needed. They can define security and application delivery policies, and can onboard Application Teams who need to publish applications.

Application Teams use streamlined, efficient workflows (UI, API, GitOps, Kubectl-based) to select applications to expose and publish, and Tetrate Application Gateway dynamically configures the secure mesh within the constraints defined by platform and security teams. In the event of scaling or failure, Tetrate Application Gateway maintains the mesh configuration to provide continuous availability and optimal routing from client to application.
