Installing Tetrate Istio distributions from TIS

Tetrate Istio Subscription

These instructions refer to Tetrate Istio Subscription (TIS).

TIS includes FIPS-validated Tetrate Istio distribution builds.

This installation guide explains the various ways to install a Tetrate Istio distribution onto your chosen platform, using the installation method of your choice.

Installation Options

1. Install using helm

   Install a Tetrate Istio distribution using helm.

2. Install using istioctl

   Install a Tetrate Istio distribution using istioctl.

3. Install on AWS using the EKS Add-On

   Install a Tetrate Istio distribution on AWS using the Tetrate EKS Add-On.

4. Install on Azure

   Install a Tetrate Istio distribution on AKS, from the Azure Marketplace.

5. Install FIPS-Validated Istio

   Tetrate Istio Subscriptions

   The FIPS-validated Tetrate Istio distribution builds are only available to Tetrate Istio Subscription subscribers.

   Gain access to and install the FIPS-validated builds of Tetrate Istio distributions.
