Tools Overview

Tetrate Istio Subscription (TIS) provide a set of tools to help Istio users to manage their Istio deployments. These tools are available as part of the Tetrate Istio Subscription and are also available for free to all Istio users.

Available Tools

Following are stand alone tools available from TIS:

1. Tetrate Vulnerability Scanner (TVS): TVS is a purpose-built tool for detecting CVEs in Istio and Envoy, beyond just generic container-level vulnerabilities.
2. Tetrate Config Analyzer (TCA): TCA is a tool that helps you to analyze your Istio configuration and provides recommendations to improve the security and performance of your Istio deployment.
