This guide walks through the suggested troubleshooting process to help you investigate and understand how your application or service is delivered using the Tetrate platform.

The Troubleshooting Process

  1. Send a Test Request to your Service

    Use curl, wget or other tools to examine how your service is operating.

  2. Discover how the Tetrate Platform has located your Service

    Determine how the Tetrate platform has discovered your service, and the Gateway configuration it is using to deliver the service.

  3. Observe Traffic - metrics, logs, traces - to your Service

    Look at the metrics, logs and traces for traffic to your service.

  4. Understand the Tetrate Configuration for your Application

    Understand and debug issues with the Tetrate platform configuration for your service, gateways and hostname.
