Examining Envoy metrics is an advanced topic, and understanding these metrics requires knowledge of how Envoy operates and what are the expected values for performance and resource metrics. Please refer to your platform team, or to Tetrate Technical Support, if you need assistance.

Envoy Metrics

Envoy metrics are available from each Envoy sidecar in your managed services. You can find them as ENVOY METRICS, further down on the metrics page for a managed service:

Examine these metrics, and the Envoy logs if you want to verify that the sidecar is operating as expected.
