Overview

To install the Tetrate Istio Subscription (TIS) Dashboard, you need to install the TIS Dashboard Central and TIS Dashboard Agent components. The TIS Dashboard Central component provides a web-based user interface to manage the TIS Dashboard. The TIS Dashboard Agent component collects telemetry data from the Istio service mesh and sends it to the TIS Dashboard Central component.

TIS Dashboard Installation​

  1. Install TIS Central​

    Install the TIS Dashboard Central component in one of your clusters. TIS Central can be deployed in the same cluster where Istio is deployed or in a separate cluster.

  2. Install TIS Agent​

    Install the TIS Dashboard Agent component in each of your Istio clusters. The Agent component collects telemetry data from the Istio service mesh and sends it to the TIS Dashboard Central component.
